Berbera Oil Terminal Participate in the Conclusion of National Fuel Pricing Study
Berbera, Somaliland — The Manager of Berbera Oil Terminal , Mr. Mohamed Sidiq Abdillahi (Dhamme), today participated in the official closing ceremony of a comprehensive national study aimed at identifying sustainable solutions to fuel pricing for electricity agencies, water utilities, and industrial sectors across Somaliland.
During the ceremony, Mr. Mohamed Sidiq Abdillahi formally announced the key decisions and findings of the study, which was conducted over a four-month period. The study focused on addressing fuel cost challenges and improving pricing mechanisms to support essential service providers and industrial growth nationwide.
The study was implemented under the supervision of a dedicated technical committee composed of representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, the Ministry of Investment, the National Fuel Storage Facilities, and the Energy Commission.
The BOT reaffirm their commitment to supporting government-led initiatives that enhance energy security, promote economic stability, and ensure reliable fuel supply for critical infrastructure, in line with national development objectives.
